Looking Back
In order to run a successful business an eye should be kept on cash flow, occupancy rates, payments and how things are going according to plan for the current and projected periods. It is best to sit down regularly and formally review the situation, attending to any problems that need fixing.
Although every business suffers setbacks it is important to be realistic, to act promptly, to deal with issues and not ignore them. Should the issues be financial there are only three ways to proceed – increase revenue, cut costs or both. Should the issue be cash flow there is only one way to proceed – get the money in quicker.
